[초록읽기] 001번째 A Review of Recent Advances in Research on Extreme Heat Events

이번주부터 매주 논문 Abstract 하나씩 읽기 스터디를 하기로 했다.

친구들이 학술정보원에서 했던 강의를 듣고 베타 테스트를 거쳐 꾸리게 된 스터딘데, 나는 강의를 듣진 못했지만 일단 연습 삼아 시작!

 

초록의 흐름이 어떻게 구성되는지를 중점으로 각 문장에 대한 설명, 그리고 어휘 등에 대해 분석했다.

 

 

첫 논문은 폭염에 대한 리뷰 페이퍼로 골랐다. 2016년 작이지만 내 연구에 꽤나 도움이 될 것 같다.

한계 및 연구 의의	While evidence / for a number of hypotheses / remains limited, climate change nevertheless points to tail risks of possible changes / in heat extremes / that could exceed estimates / generated from model outputs / of mean temperature. 문장 구조 분석을 텝스 준비했을 때 이후로 근 2년 만에 해보는데 개인적으로 세 번째 문장이 좀 어려워 별표 스티커를 남겨두었다.

영어는 나에게 늘 넘어야 할 크고 작은 산들 하하..
