[EngAll 잉그올/화상영어] 11/2 with Gloria

처음 만나는 튜터인지라 잉그올을 왜 하고 있는지 나누면 좋을 것 같아서 영어 공부에 대한 주제를 잡았다.

 

Grammar Error & New expressions

 

1) care a lot about ~ 어떤 대상에 대해 신경을 많이 쓴다 혹은 관심을 가지고 있다고 할 때 사물이든 생물이든 다 쓸 수 있을 것 같다.

또는 A lot of things are going on in my head. I process too much in my head.

I care about you a lot.
I care a lot about speaking perfect Eng. 

 

2) just for ~ 단지 무엇만을 위할 때

We use it just for test scores or university or job applications.
I watch this drama just for fun.
It is just for show - not for sale.

 

3) 어쩔 수 없는 상황에서 

We can't do anything about it. (할 수 있는게 없다)
We can't handle it. (조절 할 수 없다)

 

내가 자주하는 실수는 동사와 관련 된 것들... 특히 시제와 동명사 사용에 주의하자.

 

1) Going

Going abroad is better for ~

2) Release

During the delivery process, it releases a lot of pollution.

3) Put

If we put more effort, we can fix it.

 

부족한 부분은 전치사나 기타 표현

 

1) hard for

2) instead of

I accidentally said "clean" instead of "clear"

3) once a week / twice a month / three times a year

4) embarrassing moment

 

 

간단하고 쉬운 표현인데도 머리로 아는 것과 입 밖으로 쓰는 건 온도차가 꽤 큰 것 같다...!!
